Your primary role is to plan and execute creative content campaigns across diverse formats such as blogs, landing pages, social media posts, whitepapers, video scripts, and eBooks. 

Your leadership will be pivotal in driving forward-thinking content strategies that captivate our audience, while also ensuring seamless project management from ideation through to delivery. 

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the team's development and ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and success.

Key Responsibilities:Creative Campaign Planning and Project Management:
  • Ideate and plan innovative content campaigns that engage and resonate with target audiences.
  • Lead the planning process, mapping out campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables across various content formats.
  • Ensure efficient project management, overseeing campaigns from concept to execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards. Ensuring clear SLAs are agreed between Client Services and the client and implemented across the content team.
  • Clear understanding of each clients’ scope of work and deliverables and ensure this is communicated across the content team.
  • Continuously monitor campaign progress, adjusting as needed to optimise results and meet client objectives.
 Team Leadership and Management:
  • Mentor and guide the content team, fostering a curious, dynamic work environment.
  • Provide editorial, creative, and technical support, ensuring team members are equipped for success.
  • Oversee resource allocation, ensuring projects are well-staffed and team members' skills are used effectively.
 Campaign Management:
  • Coordinate with other teams - SEO, Paid, Design, Measurement, Client Services, and Business Development - to ensure cohesive, integrated campaign execution.
  • Report on campaign performance, identifying key learnings and opportunities for future improvement.
 Marketing & Sales Support:
  • Lead in the development of client proposals to win new business and retain existing clients.
  • Ensuring deadlines for content slide production are met for proposal calls/pitches
  • Attending pitch meetings/calls with prospective clients to talk through the approach for the content strategy
 Developing Client Relationships: 
  • Developing broader relationships with clients (i.e. senior stakeholders) to better understand the market to allow the identification of upsell, cross-sell, and referral opportunities 
  • Have a robust understanding of client objectives and business strategy 
  • Working with Client Services to ensure there is a clear client development plan in place for each key client and that the team has the skills to deliver these actions. 

Client Interaction: 
  • Engage in direct client communication, presenting creative campaign ideas and progress reports, as well as market trends and analysis, ensuring transparency and client satisfaction. 
  • Strategic input into QSR’s, and KAM sessions, as well as reviewing content team input ensuring opportunities are aligned with client objectives 
 Commercials:
  • Working with the Finance and Client Services teams to prepare Content Team/client growth targets for the upcoming financial year
  • Continually monitor and compare income targets versus actual 
  • Produce monthly reports on department activity including updates on the team finances
  • Monitor team training budgets against spend 


Skills Knowledge and Expertise:
  • Expertise in creating and managing innovative content campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from planning to delivery.
  • Proficiency in AHRefs, WordPress, Grammarly, Google Search Console, GA4, and Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities 
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Commercially and creatively astute
