Role Summary

The post holder is required to support the Community Facilities Manager to manage the Facilities Services on a daily basis across all the community hospital site locations within the Eastern Division of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained in accordance with the agreed rotas and shift patterns, to ensure we comply with client requirements and the agreed delivery of service at all times.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Facilities Management Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly professional individual with exceptional communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills to fill the role of Community Facilities Assistant Manager 

The successful post-holder will assist with the management of the Trust’s Community Facilities teams to ensure the provision and maintenance of a hygienic, clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. The post-holder will also assist with the provision of patient meals services at in-patient sites.

Working Pattern: hours per week. Monday to Friday : to : with a degree of flexibility required.

Interview Date: To be confirmed.

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 4-5 rates, inclusive of a pay award implemented from October 4. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 4 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 3-4 pay bandings ().
