Job Title: Community Facilities Manager

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Facilities Manager to join their Estates & Facilities Management Team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the management of the Trust's Community Facilities teams, ensuring the provision and maintenance of a hygienic, clean, and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This will involve managing the delivery of patient meals services at in-patient sites and ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained in accordance with agreed rotas and shift patterns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the management of the Trust's Community Facilities teams
  • Ensure the provision and maintenance of a hygienic, clean, and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
  • Manage the delivery of patient meals services at in-patient sites
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels in accordance with agreed rotas and shift patterns
Person Specification:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong understanding of facilities management principles and practices, with experience of managing teams and budgets.
