Nannies. This lovely family from Mottram St Andrew, Cheshire are now looking to be introduced to a nanny for their adorable children a 2-year-old girl and soon to be 8-year-old girl.

This family live in the pretty village of Mottram St Andrew, which is close to Macclesfield and Alderley Edge, Cheshire. Mum is also due to have another baby in October, so the search is on for a nurturing, friendly and co-operative nanny to provide full time care for their children. The girls already have a nanny who works three days a week so they are looking for someone who will work alongside her as a nanny housekeeper. The family do have a cleaner already so the housekeeping element of the role will be to do the family laundry, keeping the areas tidy and some cooking for the family

This position is ideal for a nanny who is confident at caring for babies and toddlers, and who is well organised to be able to plan activities to ensure the children are safe, engaged, and happy, using crafts and playtime to develop their learning and skills. There are lots of days out nearby rural walks to spot some animals or bug hunting in the country parks. Their older daughter is extremely easy going, you will be responsible for her care before and after school and during the school holidays and making some healthy meals for her to enjoy after school and be an extra pair of hand to this busy mum and her family. The family also have a 10-year-old stepson who visits during the week and in the school holidays.

The family do like to travel so you will need to accompany them on their holidays often for a month at a time. All flights and accommodation will be included.

If live in the accommodation comprises of a double private bedroom with ensuite.

Nanny Housekeeper Duties

  • Meal preparation, including healthy snacks and meals
  • Support with EYFS and stimulating activities for all age.
  • Offer a supportive role to mum when the new baby arrives in the early days there may be some overnight support required.
  • Visting playgroups and toddler classes that are fun and engaging.
  • Keeping the family areas clean and tidy and keeping their laundry clean and tidied away.
  • Wardrobe management, ensuring any items are dry cleaned as required.
  • Cooking meals for the whole family
  • Meal planning and shopping
  • Supporting the older children with their reading and homework.
  • School drop off and pick up

Further details

  • Days: 5 days per week 7.30am - 7pm weekend availability may be required with a day off during the week 57.5 hours per week.
  • Salary: Live in Around £800 gross per week depending on experience ( Live out may be higher based on experience )
