Are you a passionate and experienced HR leader ready to make a significant impact? Join our dynamic HR Leadership Team, reporting directly to the HR Director. In this pivotal role, you'll shape the HR strategy for our Operations, Fleet (Engineering) and Finance functions, deputising for the HR Director, and guiding a team of HR Business Partners.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Business Partner the Executive Directors and their leadership teams across Fleet (Engineering), Operations and Finance to drive business success Craft and implement an effective employee and industrial relations strategy that maximizes productivity and supports our business goals and values Stay ahead of employment legislation and industry developments, ensuring our leaders are well-informed and equipped to make sound decisions Lead our efforts in fostering harmonious employee and industrial relations, negotiating with Trade Unions, and providing expert advice Promote a fair and performance-driven culture through coaching and guidance on HR policies and procedures Support the Senior Leadership team in developing and executing organisational changes that align with our strategic objectives, ensuring smooth transitions for Line Managers Lead and mentor the HR Business Partner team, offering proactive support on day-to-day HR issues and collaborating with Occupational Health and Wellbeing team on attendance management

Qualifications and Skills for Success:

CIPD qualification level 7 or equivalent experience Proven track record in a similar HR leadership role with a strong focus on both employee and industrial relations Extensive experience in senior-level stakeholder management and business partnering Experience working in a unionised environment Strong strategic thinking and execution skills Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams with a commercial approach to HR
