Job Summary:

The HR-CL Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, leading and training the team, and contributing to the creation of innovative menus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Lead and train the kitchen team to ensure high-quality food production and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and culinary concepts.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on fresh food and innovative menu development.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (due to the location).

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £38,000 per year (based on experience) + tips + bonuses.
