About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Kedleston Hall, a Neo-classical show palace surrounded by 8000 acres of spectacular parkland. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and preparing delicious food from scratch using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the kitchen team and oversee the preparation of food for visitors
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase the best of seasonal ingredients
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and COSHH procedures
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to achieve culinary excellence
  • Provide training and support to junior team members

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a professional chef or cook, with a passion for food and a friendly and positive attitude
  • Confident about following recipes and batch-cooking, and willing to learn
  • Aware of health and safety compliance
  • Happy working within a team, and good at communicating with people
