Job Details

  • Developing, implementing and monitoring health and safety policies, procedures and systems across the organisation and ensuring compliance with all the current health and safety legislation, regulations and standards
  • Conducting regular risk assessments, audits and inspections, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective measures
  • Ensuring proper investigation of accidents and incidents, producing reports and recommending preventative actions
  • Ensuring the organisations' public sector duty obligations are met in accordance with applicable legislation
  • Providing expert advice to senior management and operational teams regarding health and safety issues and leading health and safety training initiatives for staff to promote a safety-first culture across all locations
  • Working closely with external auditors and agencies, ensuring compliance with industry standards

Skills we would love you to have

  • Strong background in health & safety management within multi-site organisations, alongside in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk management and compliance frameworks
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Ability to manage complex projects and drive improvements across multiple locations
