What you’ll be doing

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for driving growth across all tech categories, aligning with organizational goals and market trends. Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape, using these insights to inform strategy and product development. Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the product lifecycle from conception to launch, including product development, pricing, positioning, and discontinuation decisions. Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation in tech products and processes, implementing improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Cross functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and R&D teams to develop and launch successful tech products, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Vendor and Partner Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners to negotiate favourable terms and ensure timely delivery of high quality products. Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecast sales, and analyse financial performance to make informed business decisions and ensure targets are met. Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against goals and adjust strategies as needed. Customer Feedback Integration : Gather and analyse feedback from customers to continuously improve our tech offerings and ensure they meet user expectations. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all tech products comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

The skills and experience you will have under your belt

Skills:

Ability to develop and implement long term strategies that align with business goals. Deep understanding of the tech industry, including trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive dynamics. Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, financial reports, and consumer insights. Ability to think creatively and innovatively to develop unique product propositions and stay ahead of market trends. Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas, negotiating with partners, and leading teams. Expertise in managing complex projects, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget. Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and partners to secure advantageous terms. Flexible and able to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.


 
Experience:

Experience in the tech industry or a related field, with a focus on product management or category management. Proven experience in conducting market research and translating insights into actionable strategies. Demonstrated success in managing the product lifecycle from development to launch and beyond. Experience in managing budgets, forecasting sales, and analysing financial performance. Track record of building and maintaining successful relationships with vendors and partners. Experience working with diverse teams across different functions to achieve common goals. Experience in gathering and applying customer insights to drive product and process improvements. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to tech products.
