Assistant Conference & Events Operations Manager

Ready to help manage an exceptional Conference & Events operation?

De Vere Latimer Estate in Chesham offers 27 flexible spaces for weddings, conferences, meetings, training and teambuilding across three distinctively different spaces. From the recently refurbished Waterhouse suite which hosts up to 240 people, to smaller meeting rooms in The Mews or the Mansion House, with historic wood-panelled boardrooms. 

As the Assistant Conference & Events Operations Manager, you will work as part of the management team assisting the Confenrence and Events Operations Manager to ensure the flawless execution of client requirements, whilst consistently upholding our esteemed De Vere brand standards.

In return the role offers a salary of £30,000 per annum plus excellent benefits including time off over the Christmas period, £50 staff stays with De Vere, 31 days holiday and an extra paid day off for your birthday to name just a few.

Your skills and experience:

• You have a genuine passion for and experience in the conference and events industry, prepared to put your heart and soul in to delivering memorable experiences for our guests

• You have supervisory experience and enjoy helping to manage, motivate and engage the operational events team

• Your interpersonal skills enable you to make genuine connections with clients, guests and colleagues

• Most of all, you will share our values such as being graciously warm, demonstrating a genuine approach, anticipating guest needs and ensuring every detail is considered
