We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our inclusive and dynamic primary school in Harrow. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about education and ready to take on a more advanced role supporting both teachers and students across various year groups.
Key Responsibilities:- Support teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons across a range of subjects, and lead classes independently when required.
- Provide tailored support to individual students and small groups, particularly those with additional learning needs or requiring extra academic assistance.
- Help develop and implement differentiated learning materials and interventions to ensure all students can access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
- Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to track student progress and provide detailed feedback on their achievements and areas for development.
- Assist in classroom management, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Contribute to the planning and organization of school activities, events, and trips as required.
- HLTA qualification or significant experience working in a similar role within a school setting.
- Proven experience supporting students in a primary school environment, with the ability to lead whole classes confidently.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and ability to assist in lesson planning and delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning, with a commitment to supporting student development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
