About the role:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a crucial role in enhancing the educational experience of our students. You will work closely with the classroom teacher to deliver engaging lessons and support students in their learning journey. Your responsibilities will include planning and preparing educational activities, assisting with assessment and tracking student progress, and providing tailored support to children with varying needs. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners.

Application Requirements:

• Relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a primary school setting.

• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curricula.

• Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is desirable.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering high-quality lessons.

• Provide individual and small group support to students, tailoring approaches to meet their diverse needs.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.

• Support the inclusion of all students, including those with special educational needs.

• Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.
