The Practice is based over two sites, Lowdham Medical Centre and Park House Health and Social Care Centre, and provides care to patients living in Carlton, Gedling, Netherfield, Burton Joyce, Lowdham, and the surrounding villages of Lowdham.
Main duties of the job
An excellent opportunity has arisen to become a GP Partner at Jubilee Park Medical Partnership. We are a busy and innovative practice with a friendly and supportive team. The Practice is based over two sites, Lowdham Medical Centre and Park House Health and Social Care Centre, and provides care to patients living in Carlton, Gedling, Netherfield, Burton Joyce, Lowdham, and the surrounding villages of Lowdham.
About us
We provide care to around 12,200 patients, have 3 partners,6 salaried GPs and a large support team. Our practice sites are both leased,and we provide dispensing services from our Lowdham site.
We have a Good CQC rating and are a well organised practice,supported by a fantastic management, nursing and administrative structure.
We utilise SystmOne, Ardens and Accurx to support ourpractice and patients and are a teaching practice with GP trainees and medicalstudents.
We are part of Synergy Health PCN and work collaborativelywith the 2 other surgeries within the PCN to ensure we are all using the PCNsfull potential. As a practice we are forward thinking, adaptable and open tochange.
The wellbeing of our staff is a high priority and a goodwork life balance is something that, as a partnership, we value highly. Teammeetings are held regularly, and we encourage contact and support within andacross all staff groups.
Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking for a GPPartner to join the practice from January 2025. We would be looking for aPartner to work 6-8 sessions per week, covering as a minimum Tuesday, Thursdayand Friday.

Job Purpose:
Provision ofGMS services to the patient population of the Jubilee Park Medical Partnership
Effective/efficientclinical administration, audit, and management.
Lead thePractice team by being an effective team member who can encourage/listen toothers/develop and introduce change.
Contribute tothe management of the Practice.
Help to developof the Practice business and take the practice forward.
Ensuring thatyou are up to date with NHS developments/opportunities both locally andnationally
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Undertake all the duties associated with the role of a GeneralPractitioner required by the GMS contract
2. Comply with all the objectives of the GMS Contract
3. Support and contribute to the development of Practice clinicalprocedures and protocols in line with local and national guidance
4. Ensure that that all patient data is inputted on to system onein a timely and accurate manner, using read codes, templates and QOF indicators
5. Undertake clinical audits
6. Private work - completion of non NHS reports for solicitors,insurance companies and individuals. The income is put into the practiceaccounts.
7. Liaise with other members of the primary health care team andother organisations when required
8. Ensure that all GDPR , confidentiality, IG and Data protectionlaws are adhered to.
9. Contribute to Practice meetings and represent the practice atoutside meetings
10. Take on Lead responsibilities in any agreed area of Practicemanagement
11. Support the development and compliance of the Practice Healthand Safety
