Job description

Medsolve have a superb opportunity for a Residential Support Worker to provide care and support in a children’s home based in Coalville.

About the role:

  • Contributing to the young person’s care plans and risk assessments, their review and implementation.
  • Forming effective relationships with young people, their families (if appropriate) and external agencies.
  • To ensure the home is kept clean and in a tidy condition, adhere to the cleaning rota system, encouraging the young people to participate as appropriate.
  • To ensure that good quality records are maintained as required with supervision and advice from shift and Managers.
  • To maintain and promote residential care work to high levels of professionalism expected by Ofsted.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a children's home setting
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns (including sleep-in) - rota given in advance but likely to be 1 on 2 off
  • Full, UK driving licence
  • All candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet regulations
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent

Salary:

£34,271 (including sleeps) shifts of 1 on and 2 off, working between 9:30am & 11pm plus sleeps paid at £60 plus an extensive benefits package and career progression opportunities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £34,271.00 per year
