Job summary

The Cancer Services CBU are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join them as a Patient Tracker to ensure all patients are seen, and treated in a timely manner.

This role will be pivotal to the smooth running of the patient pathway across our two sites (PCH and HH) and will directly enhance our patient experience. Strong organisation skills are key, and the ability to build rapport across different staff groups.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for the proactive management of patients receiving Systematic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) treatment in the Haematology/Oncology Units across North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.

Monitoring, reporting, and tracking patients, ensuring the patients journey is progressed in a timely and efficient manner in line with National Cancer Waiting Times Targets and in the best interests of the patient.

Education and Qualifications

Essential

GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in English & Maths NVQ 3 in administration or related subject or equivalent knowledge and experience Commitment to personal and professional development

Recent relevant NHS experience Recent experience of establishing and maintaining office systems Experience of working with staff at all levels Experience of Patient Administration Systems
