An exciting 12 month secondment opportunity has become available, to support the Urology Oncology team as a clinical nurse specialist based in Peterborough. You will be an intrinsic part of the team, delivering excellent, specialist, patient-centred nursing. Whilst being the key contact for the cancer patient and their family and a vital source of expert support and guidance to the wider MDT, focusing on patients with Urological cancers.

To promote and facilitate a continuous supportive cancer service across Hospital and Community.

To be a supportive member of the cancer multi-disciplinary team (MDT).

To act as a resource to other health care professionals, who are involved in the management of cancer.

To have a continuing responsibility for the provision of specialist information and support for a caseload of Oncology patients with Urology malignancies.

To participate in service delivery ensuring that it meets national recommendations and directives for patients with cancer.
