Role Overview: Assistant Hire Controller

Our Assistant Hire Controllers work alongside the Hire Controllers, who are the heart of the depot and the ones who make it all happen. In return, we aim to help you progress by providing the necessary training and resources to grow within our company.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-class customer service.

  • Prepare hire contracts, quotations, and other necessary correspondence through the MCS-RM system.

  • Handle enquiries and source new business.

  • Record enquiries and their sources.

  • Follow up on quotations and enquiries.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

  • Perform any other relevant tasks as required by your line manager.

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including adherence to all Health & Safety policies.

  • Be aware of company KPI targets for the depot and assist in achieving and exceeding them.

Ideal Candidate:

  • IT literate: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook

  • Numerate: Strong with numbers and data

  • Excellent administration and customer service skills

  • Capable of thriving under pressure in a busy role
