This is an exciting opportunity to be part of, and lead, the One Bromley Clinical and Care Professional Leadership team. Part of the ambition of health and care services is to reduce variation in levels of health and access to services. This role is to provide the most senior clinical leadership for the One Bromley Local Care Partnership including, with the Leader of Bromley Local Authority, jointly chairing the One Bromley Board. The post holder will have a number of specific duties and strategic responsibilities but is expected to oversee the overall One Bromley clinical leadership function including the development of the primary/secondary interface

Main duties of the job

1. Jointly chair the One Bromley Local Care Partnership, which will include liaising with senior staff, local politicians and lay/non executive members in partner organisations2. Oversight of the Clinical Leadership functions for Bromley and direct management of some clinical Attendance at various governance meetings within the Local Care Partnership, and within Bromley Leadership for the main strategic priorities within Bromley, such as development of neighbourhoods5. Oversight of the improvements within the primary/secondary interface6. Clinical leadership of the primary care function, including quality in primary care7. Clinical oversight of the medicines optimisation8. Specific clinical pathway work and support, this may vary according to the interests of the postholder and the needs of various ICB workstreams9. Lead representation of Bromley CCPLs at SEL level

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

Qualified care and/or clinical professional NMC, HCPC, social work register, GMC etc. Educated to Masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area.

Desirable

Certificate / qualification in programme management, service improvement or transformation

Experience

Essential

Experience of transformational/innovative service delivery, productivity and/or transformation policy implementation.

Desirable

Previous experience of being part of peer networks and collaborative working Cross organisational and/or professional boundary collaboration experience

Knowledge

Essential

An in-depth understanding of health and care provision and awareness of current ICS/system policies and priorities Champions the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion both within and outside of the organisation. Provide effective, inclusive and compassionate leadership ensuring all voices are heard and creating and nurturing a culture where staff feel safe to speak up.

Desirable

Good knowledge or cross professional transformation, digital solutions and innovative redesign.
