The Role

Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Systems Division are seeking an exceptional APS 5 Logistics Officer to join our dynamic team.

As an APS 5 Logistics Officer working within the GWEO Systems Division you will be given the unique opportunity to collaborate within a diverse team to deliver Australian Defence Force systems that are at the leading edge of Defence Capability. Every day will be different as you embrace opportunities to:

Coordinate the provision of advice and guidance to others on complex materiel logistics activities and tasks. Review and advise on materiel logistics performance within an acquisition project or activity. Understand and apply organisational processes and procedures in the development of Integrated Logistics Support Instructions and materiel support plans.  Liaise and maintain productive relationships with internal and external materiel logistics stakeholders.
Note: This position will be required to access US export controlled materiel and therefore applicants will be requested to disclose any dual citizenship with another country during the recruitment process. Dual citizens may be subject to further assessment and appointment to this position will be conditional upon approval to access US controlled export material in accordance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Guided Weapons & Explosive Ordnance Systems Division is an integral of the Guided Weapons & Explosive Ordnance Group. Our team is made up of various disciplines (including engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services). We are located in ACT, NSW, VIC and QLD and our focus is to acquire and sustain guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force.
