As part of our ongoing expansion, we have an opportunity for a proactive and organized Part-Time Receptionist / Administrator to join our team at Flex-E-Rent Head Office, located in Shrewsbury on a job share basis.


This is a great opportunity for a dependable, friendly and outgoing person to be the first person in contact with our customers and visitors in our busy reception team who manage high volume administration including booking hotels, ordering uniforms and ordering consumables on a daily basis.

As a Part-Time Receptionist/Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and administrative functions. This job share position offers a part time schedule of 2.5 days a week Monday – Wednesday with additional holiday cover as at least 5 weeks of the year. The ideal candidate possesses a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, professional demeanor, with strong administration and organization skills, seeking an interesting part-time job share opportunity

Hours

Monday 08.00-17.30, Tuesday 08.00-17.30 & Wednesday 08.00-13.00

The role will comprise of 23 hours per week, however the successful candidate must be flexible and able to cover holidays and/or sickness at short notice. 

Salary

£11.44 per hour with overtime at a flat rate.

Responsibilities

Receiving and handling calls and directing calls to correct department Provide front of house experience for visitors and colleagues and maintain visitor log Maintaining and ordering consumables using relevant Company systems, uniforms and sundry items / reconcile invoices Manage incoming and outgoing post including booking couriers Booking hotel accommodation for colleagues in UK & Ireland in line with Group policy and providing booking confirmation / reconcile invoices Undertake a variety of administrative tasks to include sending emails, scanning and distributing documents, invoice processing, sending out milestone celebrations to employees Update and maintain the reception manual and group phone / contact list Update and maintain the switchboard manual and the Group phone list Maintain fire safety logs Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments May perform or assist with other clerical duties as needed by various departments such as binding document folders, photocopying, scanning etc

Qualifications

Personable and approachable Computer literate including basic excel skills Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize work effectively and efficiently Strong organization and administrative skills Good attention to detail / ability to multitask Ability to work with minimal supervision and able to make decisions No drug or alcohol related offence on your driving record within the last five years is permitted.
