We are writing a new and exciting chapter in the history of
The Belfry. A major expansion and renovation project has begun at our resort,
due for completion in Autumn 2025. With a substantial investment in excess of
£80 million, we are enriching our resort including the addition of a new event
space, The Masters Suite, 149 extra bedrooms, a state-of-the-art leisure club,
and much more.

The Belfry
Meetings and Events:




The Meeting & Events department boasts
24 stylish event spaces capable of hosting gatherings of all sizes, from board
meetings to large weddings and corporate events. With over 120 team members, we
serve up to 800 guests simultaneously. Our experienced team ensures seamless
and successful events, from celebrity golf days to themed BBQs, creating
memorable experiences for all attendees.



 



Salary



The on-target earning potential for this role is a £25896
annual salary, comprising a base salary of £24232 supplemented by an estimated
1664 in gratuities per annum, ensuring a rewarding compensation package.



 



 



About the
role:



 



As Meetings
and Events Bar & Set Up Team leader you will be responsible for checking that the BEO details are correct with
customer, ensuring all information is passed to relevant departments and to
monitor the setup team and ensure their work is of the highest standard and all
rooms are set correctly.



You will also be responsible for:





• Meet and greet all company organisers ensuring
a warm welcome to the hotel.

• Deal with complaints/problems politely and
make every effort to resolve these with minimal inconvenience to the customer.

• Ensure effective and efficient lines of
communication are developed and maintained, including exercising appropriate
shift hand-over procedures

• Training and coaching staff to maximise
performance and consistently deliver 100% guest satisfaction

• Supervise and motivate staff to encourage and
obtain maximum commitment and efficient service.

• Carry out other duties that may be necessary
from time to time.

• Passionate about the industry and poses an
ability to work on own initiative

The ideal candidate will have proven experience
in a meeting and events role and good communication skills and a passion for
delivering exceptional levels of guest service are
