Job Title: Bar Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team at a busy members club in Sutton Coldfield. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the bar area, and supporting the Bar Manager in their absence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring an exceptional standard of service is provided at all times.
  • Manage the bar area, including re-stocking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Support the Bar Manager in their absence, including covering shifts and managing the bar team.
  • Contribute to the team effort, including liaising with colleagues and customers, and maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Competently record sales using the till system, and maintain accurate records of wastage, consumption, ordering, and returns.
  • Respond promptly to customer queries and issues, and ensure that all matters are dealt with and recorded.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a bar or hospitality role, with a focus on customer service and team management.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to cover shifts as required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Basic knowledge of beverages and bar operations, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
