Business Enterprise Architect (Oracle Fusion) – Hybrid – Outside IR35 – 6 months initial
We are seeking an experienced Business Enterprise Architect with a strong background in Oracle to oversee the implementation of Oracle Financials within Oracle Fusion for a FTSE 100 organisation.
This role (Business Enterprise Architect) is pivotal in bridging the gap between business and technology teams, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will leverage TOGAF principles and a systematic approach to problem-solving, working closely with Oracle as the system integrator.
Role Overview:
The Business Enterprise Architect will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and Oracle SI, developing a robust architectural framework and leading the digital transformation of our financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and Oracle SI, ensuring clear communication and understanding of business requirements.
- Architectural Framework: Utilise TOGAF methodologies to create and maintain a strong architectural framework that aligns IT strategy with business objectives.
- Problem Solving: Analyse complex business problems and develop comprehensive, actionable solutions within the Oracle Fusion framework.
- Governance and Compliance: Develop and enforce governance frameworks to ensure compliance, data integrity, and alignment with organisational standards.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes, including training and support for business users.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with the implementation and integration of Oracle Financials.
Key Skills
- Enterprise Architecture: Strong expertise in Enterprise Architecture and TOGAF Framework.
- Oracle Financials Cloud: Proficiency in implementing and optimising Oracle Financials Cloud. (Fusion) – This is essential for the role
- Governance and Compliance: Strong governance and compliance management skills.
- Business Process Optimisation: Expertise in business process modelling and optimisation.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Technical Leadership: Strong technical leadership and project management expertise.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex problems using a scientific and methodical approach.
- Risk and Change Management: Experience in managing risks and leading change management initiatives.
Contract Details
- Role: Business Enterprise Architect (Oracle Fusion)
- Duration: 6 months (initial)
- Rate: £600 - £800 per day
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35 – pending outcome of QDOS Assessment
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days peer week onsite (Midlands)
