To support the growth of our portfolio of homes, we are seeking a motivated and dedicated time served Decorator, with demonstrative experience of working on their own initiative with a high level of autonomy, resulting in the best possible environment for the residents who form our communities.

Reporting directly to our Estates Management Team, the key responsibilities for our Decorators, are as follows:

  • Undertake decoration and improvement works to operational care homes within the Avery Healthcare Group
  • Preparation of Risk Assessment and Method Statements in relation to decoration and improvement works
  • Assisting Estates Project Manager in developing the brief and Scope of Works for decoration and improvement works 
  • Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times and in accordance with relevant statutory obligations.
  • Compliance with all relevant health and safety requirements relating to decoration and improvement works  

This position will require travel, supporting homes within a specified region for which the use of a company van will be provided. Therefore, a full, UK driving license is essential.
