The Policy & International Health WHO CC Directorate is seeking an experiencedProgramme Coordination and Engagement Officer to provide support to the Public Health Value and Economics post holder will coordinate and assist in ensuring that activities of the team are coordinated and delivered both within Public Health Wakes and more broadly Welsh Government, local authorities and other sectors nationally and return, we offer great benefits including hybrid and flexible working, a fantastic NHS pension, excellent annual leave, cycle to work and car lease schemes, childcare voucher schemes, plus many more.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to provide high level support to projects related to the Public Health and Economics team outputs including evidence synthesis and data collation and analysis support tasks. The post holder especially be required to support the interpretation of health economics data and information in the context of Social (Public) Value to build a Well-being Economy in Wales.

The post holder will also be required to support the monitoring and delivery against both the IMTP and long-term strategy and this may include undertaking a support role at a strategic priority support meeting.

The post holder will also be required to support stakeholder engagement activities. This will include preparing or supporting colleagues, organisation of meetings and workshops, including co-ordination of meeting agendas, papers and contributors.

This is a varied role which requires a broad understanding and experience of various coordination, stakeholder engagement and evidence synthesis processes and procedures including but not limited to.

NVQ Level 4, Degree or equivalent level of experience. High level of both numeracy and written and spoken English.

Experience of stakeholder engagement activities Experience of communicating with all levels of professional staff and the public. Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive data and appropriate maintenance and storage of records. Experience of developing and holding presentations to a wide range of audience Experience of working on projects related to health economics and social value. Experience of operating Microsoft Office Suite. Experience of producing management information reports. Experience of project implementation and monitoring ongoing projects Experience of managing finance systems budget monitoring. Experience of managing, maintaining and developing systems and procedures. Experience of implementing administrative policies and procedures
