Salary: Competitive with company van and annual performance bonus plus Veolia benefits and pension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Location: Bromley and covering Southwark down to East Kent

What you'll be doing;

  • Provide ongoing assessments and support to all Yellow Plant Operators
  • Carry out assessments throughout the year for each yellow plant driver
  • Complete evaluation for any yellow plant driver involved in an accident or near miss
  • Carry out training on yellow plant within the region to give operators a better understanding of the machinery and prepare new drivers for formal assessment
  • Help local managers identify employees to upskill, carry out pre-assessments and follow on training
  • Provide written feedback after each assessment has been carried out, following up on any key points for improvement
  • Work alongside the site managers to review telematic reports produced by the machinery, reviewing the payloads, fuel efficiency and machine idling then producing action plans if required
  • Set up downtime logs for the hours the machines are VOR
  • Work with 3rd party contractors to ensure the use of plant equipment is to the best of its ability
  • Maintain relationships with 3rd party maintenance providers to ensure reports are available
  • Ensure best practice is shared, observed consistently and followed at all times
  • Review payloads at each site



What we're looking for;

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, training and coaching skills.
  • Excellent technical experience, knowledge and qualifications preferably in the waste management sector.
  • Driving Licence
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work to deadlines and work autonomously
  • Flexible and positive work ethic accepting the demands of theBusiness.
  • Loading shovel qualification
