About the Role:
As a Math Teacher, you will have the chance to inspire and educate students across the age and attainment range at both Key Stage 3 and 4. This position is perfect for experienced teachers, ECTs qualifying this year, and unqualified teachers with a passion for mathematics and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective Teaching: Deliver high-quality math lessons that enable students to learn effectively, develop personally, and achieve their individual potential, in line with the school’s aims and policies.
  • Curriculum Delivery: Implement a broad, balanced, relevant, and ambitious math curriculum that is accessible to all students.
  • Extra-Curricular Involvement: Engage in and contribute to the school’s provision of extra-curricular activities, enriching students' overall educational experience.
  • Student Development: Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students, both as a math teacher and a form tutor.
  • Raising Standards: Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and ensuring that within the school, value is added.
  • Professional Growth: Participate in opportunities provided by the school for personal and academic development.
  • Professional Duties: Fulfill professional duties as detailed in the Conditions of Service.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, for experienced teachers.
  • ECTs qualifying this year and unqualified teachers with a strong interest in teaching mathematics are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A deep understanding of the mathematics curriculum and enthusiasm for the subject.
  • Commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • A Safer Recruitment in Education check will be required.
