About the Role

Fleet Tutors is seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths and English Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in achieving their academic goals.

As a Maths and English Tutor, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering tuition, and monitoring progress. You will work closely with learners, their guardians, and teachers to ensure their academic success.

We are looking for a Tutor who is experienced in supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs. You will have a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification and a minimum of 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create engaging lesson plans and deliver tuition that is designed to inspire and teach.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure their academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
Requirements
  • Must hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Must live and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Must be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
  • A commitment to safeguarding.
  • Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
