We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced UK Registered Accountant to join our team for a part-time in-house role. The successful candidate will work one day per week in our office, located at our office in Wembley, and will be paid at the rate of £20 per hour.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and managing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Processing payroll for all staff monthly
  • Submitting and filing end of year company accounts
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Managing our 2 in house bookkeepers, including checking on bank reconciliations and other month-end accounting activities.
  • Providing financial advice and guidance to senior management
  • Developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts

Requirements:

  • Must be a UK Registered Accountant with a valid certification
  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (e.g. Xero)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
