Mainstream Primary School SEND TA

Location: Tower Hamlets

Hours: 8:45-3:45 - Term-time only

Salary: £85-100 - PAYE

Protocol Education are currently working with several mainstream Primary Schools in Tower Hamlets who are looking for full-time SEN TAs to work closely with their most vunerable students with SEND.

As part of your role, you will be working closely with children with Autism on a 1-1 basis.

Our partner schools in Tower Hamlets are looking for passionate, motivated and reliable TA's who are looking to make a positive impact every day.

You will play a vital role in ensuring that the students in your care are making good progress.

You will work closely with your class teacher, SENDCO and outside agencies to ensure a high level of education is being delivered.

Whilst experience working with SEN, either personally or professionally, is beneficial, full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • Sound understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and a team player.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
