Your new company
You will be working with a Staffordshire-based company who specialise in HVAC and EV solutions for the construction, automotive and rail sectors. They are undergoing a period of growth and are looking to expand their quality operation and will be adding a new Quality Inspector to the team.
Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for end to end line inspection validation of incoming and outgoing products by means of pre-determined inspection requirements including use of measurement equipment. You will provide monthly reports to the QM on process performance and liaise with suppliers on non-conforming parts through removal from site, replacement or corrective actions. You will also ensure compliance standards are upheld in line with all EH&S procedures and proper utilisation of all PPE.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, experience within quality and using measurement equipment (Faro Arm, Height Gauge, Vernier Callipers, Micrometres etc.) is desirable. You will need to have a good understanding of Microsoft applications and the ability to work under your own initiative. This role will require some manual handling and lifting equipment weighing approx. 25kg.
What you'll get in return
The Quality Inspector role offers a permanent contract alongside a salary of £23,000 per annum- This comes with a bonus scheme as a % of salary based on company and individual performance. The company operates on a compressed week; 38 hours over 4 days- Monday-Thursday.
