We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual with a keenness and ability to integrate current skills within our neuro developmental constellation within Specialist Community CAMHS.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner who will support the Team Lead and Clinical Lead to develop and deliver specialist mental health support to children, young people and their families with neuro diversity. The role will involve specialist clinical intervention work, Initial Assessment, ASC assessment and clinical supervision responsibilities for team members within Sandwell.

We welcome enthusiasm and creativity and you will be joining a supportive, forward-thinking team who prides themselves on building positive therapeutic relationships and our strong commitment to continual improvements in patient care. Clinical and leadership supervision, and continuing professional development are highly valued.

Person Specification

Essential & Desirable

Essential

Professional qualification in a mental health related subject, Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or equivalent. Evidence of continuous professional development in mental health related field Experience of working with children and families with complex mental health needs Experience of supervising staff Clinical leadership experience

Desirable

Degree/equivalent experience in CAMH related field Proven post qualification experience of working with CAMHS
