Regulatory and Safety Affairs is a critical function within R&D: a key partner in developing the right portfolio strategy for brilliant innovation, activation in our markets and secure the products during all product life cycle.

We actively engage externally with stakeholders and regulators to anticipate and credibly influence changes to the regulatory environment, and we bring that regulatory intelligence back to RB to drive better informed business decisions. We lead the thinking internally about what is possible and put forward ideas that become reality, acting as an stewards of our brands and our company to deliver compliant and competitively positioned products to the people we serve.

The Global Regulatory Affairs & Safety Strategy Manager GAP will be responsible for developing the Regulatory and Safety Strategy end to end for our GAP global business which has projects in Vision for 500Mn NR in 5Y cross product category (including new entry categories). Working with the Strategy Lead and Senior Manager, the GAP Manager will have responsibility for developing the Regulatory and Safety strategy input for the GAP area, all guided by Reckitt’s purpose, to protect, heal and nurture in the relentless pursuit of a cleaner and healthier world. 

Your responsibilities

Develop overarching global regulatory strategies, fully aligned with corporate strategy, local requirements & considerations. Work within a cross functional team to identify new in-licencing opportunities, develop 3rd party strategic partnerships, support Merge and Acquisitions in high wrought markets, Strategic join ventures, opening new places and spaces (with new product categories, opening new places & spaces in whitespace markets & categories, such as Women's health, sleep…), ensure we are an effective, well-connected organisation, internally and externally. Manage a complex and diverse set of registration/regulatory requirements across multiple markets to enable strategic delivery of the GAP pipeline Deliver robust strategic plans and strong interface with the cross functional team to ensure flawless design and execution of global regulatory strategies to support the global business objectives. Motivate and lead the matrix cross functional team (including across the region/countries) to define and implement the regulatory strategy defined for each GAP project to ensure flawless execution. Support work required to refine regulatory processes and procedures to optimise accuracy and efficiency, thus enabling speed to market. Provide regulatory strategy assessments of internal and external commercial opportunities Gather, disseminate & assess regulatory competitive intelligence for relevant therapeutic areas.

The experience we're looking for

You have relevant Regulatory Experience and knowledge in NPD and dossier/technical file creation and global registrations. You are a trusted business partner with proven track record of working closely with cross functional teams to deliver robust strategic plans and will have a good understanding of global product development practice for Health products, rules, regulations and guidelines. You have a familiarity with factors likely to influence the regulatory environment, including new and emerging guidelines relevant to dossier deliveries is also essential. Can consistently deliver to time, cost and quality standards in a high-pressure environment. Have a strategic mindset with demonstrated ability to anticipate future trends accurately and has a broad knowledge and perspective on regulatory implications across a range of product classifications. Have an ability to translate complex regulatory information into a compelling stakeholder friendly language. You have strong intellectual curiosity with an appetite for exploring new and previously unchartered territories and an openness to change with ability to think out of the box
