About the role

We are currently looking to recruit a Stock Availability Area Manager to work within our Stock Availability team at Ocado's Customer Fulfillment Centre based in Dordon. The primary objective of the Area Manager for Stock Availability is to support the day to day delivery of Customer Fulfilment tasks that enable the accurate and efficient control of stock as it flows throughout the warehouse. 

Shift - This role will require you to work 48 hours per week, 12 hours shifts (includes both weekdays and weekends). The hours of work will typically be 18:30 - 06:30.

As a Stock Availability Area Manager you will provide the technical expertise and facilitate the monitoring of operational processes and procedures that support the operational team to deliver world class customer fulfilment.

Customer Quality and Cost are crucial, ensuring accurate stock handling and resolving exceptions promptly. Delivery management involves overseeing supplier deliveries, optimizing space usage, and supporting team members.

About you

The minimum requirements for this role include Previous experience in a 24/7 inventory support, stock control or operational environment and the ability to work well under pressure and manage to tight deadlines. An analytic approach to problem solving and a high attention to detail along with Effective communication skills, written and verbal is essential. Knowledge of Stock Availability systems and processes, working knowledge of food safety systems and IOSH qualifications are preferred. SQL and or Data Studio qualifications , either academic or demonstrable through experience is also preferred.
