Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: We’re looking for a Registered Manager who is caring, dedicated, loves working with people and share the values that make our charity so special. Within this role, you will manage the service described below, you will manage a team to support many individuals, with a range of different needs, to help them to live their best lives possible.You will be following CQC regulated activity. Experience of managing a team and knowledge of CQC regulations is preferred. About The Service  We are a group of male & female co-tenants living in our own apartments in a shared housing scheme. Our ages range between 40 upwards. Some of us receive support and some of us live independently. We love to socialise with each other and a also entertain our friends and family in our home. When we do require support, it can be anything from personal care, help to clean our apartment, cooking and preparing meals, medication support, accessing the community for appointments or just a welfare call to keep us company. The scheme is purpose built to support with maintaining our own independence There is a large mature private garden with trees for shade and places to sit and move around; just fantastic to use in the summer. There is shared communal lounge where we can spend time with each other and our friends and family We have a Bistro, Hairdressers, Hobby Room, Pamper room, Assisted Bathroom and Guest room available There is parking available on site You will work alongside an experienced and supportive staff team The staff are based in the staff room downstairs but will come to the apartments at the times we need them and also respond to our pendant is we need them to. With experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.
You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.
In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area. You will also hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care, i.e. Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 3 (England).
