CareerMakers Recruitment are looking for Hygiene Team Leader for our client based in Knowsley, L33 Area.

The Hygiene Team Leader will be responsible for the effective, safe, and controlled running of the hygiene function and reports to the Factory Manager.

**In addition to completing hygiene operative duties, the Hygiene Team Leader will be responsible for the following**:

- Supervision and first line management of the hygiene team
- Ensuring that cleaning schedules and cleaning procedures are completed according to timescales, SOPs and safety controls.
- Reporting, investigating, and resolving any non-conformances, issues or queries in a timely and effective manner.
- Briefing and training team members to the required standards.
- Escalating issues to the management team as appropriate and playing an active role in the resolution of any problems.
- Provide a thorough handover to Production at the end of the shift.
- Representing company as the most senior person on the night shift - to include any liaison with internal and external parties.
- Have prior experience (3 years) of hygiene control and compliance within food manufacturing or another relevant production environment/industry.
- Have Food Safety and HACCP at Level 2 or above.
- Have IOSH or equivalent H&S qualification.
- Have a qualification in Team Leader/Management at Level 3 or above.
- Be a confident user of computers and new technology.
- Have good written & verbal communication skills.
- Be a proven team player, able to work collaboratively at all levels and build partnerships with cross-functional teams.
- Have excellent attention to detail and be a methodical worker with strong organization skills.

The salary band is £27,500-£29,500 - plus £5 per each night shift worked to cover unsocial hours.

**Salary**: £27,500.00-£29,500.00 per year
