About the role
The Lead Solution Architect will be responsible for progressive management of the designing and implementing of multiple complex solutions against a specific business portfolio. This will be a mixture of directly designing themselves, or a co-ordination of efforts across subordinate Solution Architects in their reporting line or in collaboration across multiple reporting lines and teams.
The successful candidate will lead a team of Solution Architects and provide technical guidance and governance to project teams to ensure that the solutions are aligned with the business, enterprise objectives and stakeholder buy-in
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Solution Architects to design and implement complex solutions through to delivery Develop and maintain the architecture roadmap against Enterprise Architecture guidance and associated artefacts Collaborate with project, development, and vendor teams to ensure that the solutions are aligned with the business objectives, manage stakeholder relationships and expectations Provide technical guidance and governance to project teams Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations to the business Develop and maintain technical documentation, governance routes, business presentations and benefits realisation measurements Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standardsTo be successful in the role, you will have:
Extensive experience in Senior Solutions Architecture or application design. Strong understanding of architecture principles and practices. Demonstrated experience leading project solution architecture teams. Experience in the development of cloud-based technology; migrations and deployments. Certification in TOGAF, ISO27001/2, ITIL, ISEB, MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, would be desirable.
