Lead Solutions Architect required to manage the Architectural Road map for a Specialist Insurer as they embark on a transformative period, growing their digital platform & offering. Reporting into the Chief Architect, you will take ownership for multiple IT Architecture domains as the business prepares for their Cloud Migration programme.

This is a transitional environment, so an agile approach to architecture is a necessity. You will develop strong partnerships with Data & Analytics, IT & Engineering teams, developing functional architectural solutions for legacy and cloud offerings. You will have experience designing Azure Cloud Landing zones, with deep understanding of infrastructure and application architecture.

This is the ideal opportunity for a dynamic Architect who thrives on developing new solutions for business challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture design for infrastructure, applications, and data solutions that align with business goals and technology strategies.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture blueprints and roadmaps that guide the evolution of the technology landscape.
  • Develop strong relationships with Data & Analytics, IT and Security and Engineering teams
  • Play a leading role in the development of business Architecture Standards and Patterns
  • Ensure and maintain Governance standards are adhered to when developing architectural frameworks

Requirements:

  • Commercial Insurance or Financial Services experience is required
  • Experience developing IT architectures across Applications, Infrastructure and Data that operate through SaaS
  • Demonstratable experience designing & developing Cloud Solution Architecture, preferably Azure
  • Ability to work in sprints and adopt an agile approach to architecture design
  • Excellent communication, ability to effect change and promote technology solutions across the wider business
