Job summary

Modality Partnership Mid Sussex Division hasa full-time/part time vacancy for a Medical Secretary. The postholder will be a high performing administratorwho will work to ensure referrals are sent out in a timely manner working within Modality Mid Sussex Division providing a referral service for GPs who needto refer patients on to secondary care. Main duties of the job

The role is an all-rounded,hands-on referral administration role; the postholder will need to confidently evidenceand utilise key skills such as effective communication, time management, diarymanagement, and the ability to prioritise referrals and their differenturgencies across the Division and the wider organisation. The postholder willwork in collaboration with local divisions (including Divisional Boards) andthe National Modality Business Support Team to deliver innovative ways ofworking to meet the strategic aims of the organisation.

The role is nota regular 9am-5pm job and is not a pure typing secretarial role; the jobrequires innovation, flexibility, and commitment and the postholder will berequired to work resourcefully as part of the team to ensure tasks arecompleted.
