We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our clients team. This is a newly created but pivotal role to support the continuous growth and success of the business. Delivering efficient HR support and advisory services across the organisation, the HR Manager will be responsible for addressing all people-related matters and will occasionally be required to work outside normal hours to support the strategic HR objectives of the firm. Flexibility and the ability to travel between various office locations are essential.
**Main Duties & Responsibilities:**
- Provide a responsive business partnering service, managing employee relations, workforce planning, and continuous professional development (CPD).
- Offer generalist HR advice on employment terms, conditions, and HR policies, ensuring matters are resolved in alignment with firm policies.
- Responsibility for all HR Administrator and record keeping in line with regulation and legalisation.
- Lead the Recruitment and Onboarding process, including job advertisements, shortlisting, interviewing, and pre-employment checks.
- Collaborate with Finance on complex payroll queries and serve as an escalation point for transactional issues.
- Produce HR KPI reports and provide insights to inform future policies and practices.
- Advise on occupational health referrals, absence management, and return-to-work cases for Line Managers.
- Contribute to the development and review of HR policies within the legal framework of employment legislation.
- Set the HR strategy, goals and vision
- HR project work, to ensure continues improvement
Requirements
**Personal Specification:**
- A good standard of education with a recognised HR qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 5) or significant equivalent experience leading an HR function
- A passion for HR demonstrated through continuous professional development.
- Strong understanding of HR practices and current employment law.
- Proven track record in developing and managing policies and procedures across multiple teams and locations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Competence in managing complex change and development initiatives.
- Experience in handling employment cases, including conduct, grievance, and performance management.
- Strong planning, organisational, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with integrated payroll and HR platforms
