Outwood Academy Freeston are seeking an inspirational Teaching Assistant to join their team. At our academy we pride ourselves on being part of a family and this support role would be at the heart of this. We are confident that you will find this a rewarding role where you will work to support the learning of individuals who may or may not present with SEND (Including those with an Education Health Care Plan). You will build on this support and work closely with small groups of children or individuals under the direction of teaching staff. We trust that you feel passionately about supporting children irrespective of their needs or background and as such demonstrate skills that enable our children to be independent learners and overcome their barriers to learning.

The post holder will work closely with all other members of the Inclusion team to promote high standards of inclusion and learning opportunities. As an experienced Teaching Assistant, you will be extremely well organised, IT literate and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. It would be advantageous to be qualified to NVQ3 or equivalent and have experience of supporting students with specific needs.
