Outwood Academy Freeston are seeking an inspirational Advanced Teaching Assistant to join their team. At our academy we pride ourselves on being part of a family and this support role would be at the heart of this. 

You will work under the direction of the class teacher and other appropriate staff, in assisting in and contributing to the planning, delivery and evaluation of the learning process. The post holder will work in classes, or other appropriate locations with access to support and guidance, supervising groups and /or individual pupils.

We are confident that you will find this a rewarding role where you will work to support the learning of individuals who may or may not present with SEND (Including those with an Education Health Care Plan). We trust that you feel passionately about supporting children irrespective of their needs or background and as such demonstrate skills that enable our children to be independent learners and overcome their barriers to learning.

As an experienced Advanced Teaching Assistant, you will be extremely well organised, IT literate and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You will have your Level 3 qualification relating to working with children and young people.
