As a Senior Designer at Sainsbury's, you will be responsible for delivering inspirational designs that align with the values of the category vision and ambition. Your main focus will be on managing relationships with suppliers and their design teams to create original and exclusive products across a variety of categories such as Home Accessories, Home Fragrance, and Homewares within our Own Brand propositions. Alongside being a manager and mentor to junior team members, you will bring your expertise in delivering key seasonal trends, ensuring that your ranges are filled with innovation and commercial viability. As a skilled communicator, you will represent the team in front of key stakeholders and confidently manage the critical path to meet deadlines. Additionally, your role will involve being accountable for the design strategy and Non-Food Divisional Objectives, designing competitive product ranges, staying updated on market trends, monitoring product quality and safety standards, leading and motivating your team, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Your creative problem-solving skills and ability to build relationships will play a crucial role in driving commercial success and delivering a memorable customer experience.

As a Senior Designer for Sainsbury's, you are an experienced and highly creative professional with a passion for delivering inspirational designs that align with the category vision and ambition. Your extensive design experience in a comparable retail sector, coupled with your ability to create original and exclusive products, sets you apart. With your strong communication skills, you confidently manage relationships with suppliers and design teams, ensuring the delivery of innovative and commercially successful ranges across Home Accessories, Home Fragrance, and Homewares. As a manager and mentor, you guide and develop junior team members, while also taking ownership of your category and staying attuned to key seasonal trends. Your customer-centric approach, attention to quality and safety requirements, and ability to meet deadlines make you a valuable asset in driving the success and growth of the Non-Food Division.
