The Vacancy

Newcastle College require a dedicated, enthusiastic and qualified person to take on the role of Technical Assessor in Automotive.

The post holder will teach and manage learning / training on a range of courses to progress individuals through a period of learning that enhances their ability to perform their current role and improve their chances of career progression.

The role is expected to deliver apprenticeships, on a range of apprenticeships within the automotive sector, commercial courses (where appropriate), one off unitised accredited delivery and other solutions as an employer lead training provider. This will include workplace visits, regular employer reviews, updating relevant eportfolio systems as well as liaising with relevant awarding organisations. 

As an employee within NCG, all employees are required to promote, uphold and demonstrate through personal example, our values and behaviours.

An ability to self-manage workload, meet deadlines alongside strong oral and written communication skills and good IT skills are also essential. The hours of work will be flexible and may include evening and weekends according to demand.
