Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Boston

Salary: £90 - £110 per day

 

An Ofsted rated 'Good' school in Boston are currently looking for Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). In the mornings, your role will involve helping the teacher to manage behaviour and working 1:1/in small groups supporting children with their learning. As a HLTA, afternoons will then involve following the plans of teachers and teaching whole classes.

The school have high expectations of pupils and staff are extremely supportive. They have a diverse and varied curriculum and are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children in their care.

 

A successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) applicant will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
  • Be flexible in their practice
  • Be positive, reflective and resilient
  • Have strong behaviour management skills and be able to build positive working relationships with pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
