Job Title: Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant - Boston Opportunity

Job Type: Full-time, long-term with possibility to go permanent

Pay: £86-92 per day

Schedule: Monday to Friday

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a special school in Boston. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students who require additional help with their social, emotional, and mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEMH needs
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities to support student learning
  • Help students develop social, emotional, and behavioral skills
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure student progress
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student planning and progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children/young adults with SEMH needs
  • Passion for working with SEMH students
  • Flexibility, proactivity, and patience when working with students
  • Effective communication skills within a team
  • Commitment to working full-time
