Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education to students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities.
- Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, including those with physical, emotional, or learning disabilities.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and implement learning resources and materials to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles.
- Monitor and track student progress, reporting findings to teachers and parents.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices and policies.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of educational policies and practices.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
