Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
In this exciting yet challenging position, you’ll ensure the development of accurate, efficient and reliable plant models for Automotive systems. You’ll validate and maintain the appropriate modelling and simulation tools making sure they are up-to-date and fit for purpose whilst ensuring the seamless integration of plant models with other systems such as: control algorithms, HIL setups and test rigs.
Validation & Verification: Ensure that all models are rigorously validated and verified against real-world data and performance specifications. Standards Adherence: Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 26262 and other relevant best practices in modelling and simulation. Documentation: Ensure thorough and standardized documentation of all models, simulation results, and associated processes.WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Ability to develop, validate, and optimize plant models for automotive systems. Knowledge of control theory and its applications in automotive systems to ensure compatibility between plant models and controller designs Experience with platforms like dSPACE, NI, or Speedgoat, ensuring models can run in real-time for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
