A fresh food site near Cirencester is seeking a skilled senior sous chef with a passion for farm-to-table cuisine. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of fresh produce, with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients within a 25-mile radius.
A commitment to sustainability and a flair for creating innovative dishes that highlight the natural flavours of the ingredients will set apart the successful applicant. For those looking to make a mark in the culinary world with fresh, local produce, this opportunity represents a perfect blend of challenge and creativity.

Key responsibilities (not limited to):
*Oversee the effective running of our pastry service. Ensuring timescales and high standards are met.
*Prepare an array of desserts which utilise the produce within our kitchen garden and sources from local suppliers.
*Work closely with the Head Chef/ Senior Sous and kitchen garden team with regards to the produce being used within the pastry section.
*Ensuring a clean and tidy workstation at all times.
*Support the development of our kitchen team, working closely with our Apprentice Chefs.

Skills and experience:
*Ability to work in a fast pace environment
*Enthusiasm for cooking and pastry
*Ability to manage a small team
*Experience in a similar role and establishment
