Responsibilities:
- Handle the process of opening new client accounts, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
- Prepare and process transactions within the firm's systems, adhering to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Draft and prepare client reports and correspondence, including valuations, dealing letters, and responses to client queries.
- Resolve administrative queries from clients and work closely with the Investment Administration team to address any issues.
- Verify contract details against dealing data to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare payment, transfer, and other investment administration forms for sign-off by the Investment Manager.
- Provide factual information on market indices, share prices, and other relevant data upon request.
- Assist in developing client relationships by arranging, attending, and supporting meetings, including preparing necessary documentation.
- Monitor existing and potential investments, providing regular updates to the Investment Manager.
- Support investment analysis by reviewing research materials and attending meetings with company representatives and fund managers.
- Assist in portfolio construction and ongoing monitoring of client portfolios.
- Participate in the firm's investment process by contributing to morning meetings, monthly stock selection, asset allocation meetings, and collective research.
Qualifications:
- Must be committed to undertaking the CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma, with the expectation of completion within 18 months.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong data management and reporting skills.
- A 2:1 degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a STEM-related field.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Highly organised, with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
